MCS prides themselves on finding and providing a more economical way to design bridges, and provide constructability reviews of existing designs. This pride stems from the years of mentoring provided by C.C. Myers himself. MCS offers bridge design services to both public and private sector clients. MCS provides preliminary engineering services, through final design and preparation of Plans and Specifications. Bridges are designed to the AASHTO Bridge Design Specifications with Caltrans supplements and modifications. MCS is capable of designing cast-in-place, post-tensioned concrete box girders; pre-cast, pre-tensioned concrete girders and slabs, and structural steel girders and trusses carrying vehicular, pedestrian, equestrian, and recreational traffic. In addition, MCS and their associates have experience in sound and retaining walls as well as temporary support structures such as falsework and trussle design.
